GPKids helps transform the way kids love God and love others! Our goal is for each kid to experience our four discipleship skills- hearing from God through His Word, talking about God in small groups, talking to God through prayer and living for God through worship, giving and serving.
GPKIDS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
GPKIDS DESK

- Help families check-in their kids for Sunday classes. Answer questions about GP Kids or the church family, familiarize new families and get their information into our technology system. Give tours of the GP Kids area as needed.
ELEMENTARY SMALL GROUP LEADER +*

- Connect with kids, lead a Bible lesson, possible games, and crafts. The goal is to disciple children in the context of truth and relationship.

GPWORSHIP
GracePoint Worship exists to help people experience the presence of God.
We need both singers and musicians on stage as well as those running lighting and sound off-stage to help our congregation better experience the presence of God.
GPWORSHIP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
REGARDING ON PLATFORM ROLES* (Auditions required)
Must have a servant’s heart, eager to direct the attention to Jesus, not to themselves. Able to demonstrate proper worship of our amazing King, Jesus. We are open to including any of the following roles: Vocalist, Musician (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, piano, stringed instruments, some wind instruments, percussion).
MUSICIANS*
- Practice assigned music, participate in mid-week rehearsals, and serve by providing musical accompaniment for Sunday worship gatherings.
VOCALIST*
- Practice assigned music, participate in mid-week rehearsals, and serve by providing vocal leadership for Sunday worship gatherings. May sing lead or harmony according to the need of the song and direction of the Worship Pastor.
OFF STAGE ROLES
PRODUCER
- Responsible for successful oversight and execution of the in-person and online worship gatherings.
- Oversees the operations positions/persons needed for worship gathering execution.
- Primary point of contact for all technology associated with worship gatherings (audio, lighting, computers, etc.).
- Leads weekly Production Review meetings and Sunday Morning pre-gatherings meetings.
- Ensures worship gathering team members understand when and where their presence is required.
ASSISTANT PRODUCER
- Duties as assigned by Producer.
- Serves as an apprentice to the Producer, learning his/her role for backup purposes.
- Fills in when Producer is not available.
FRONT OF HOUSE AUDIO TECHNICIAN
- Mixes audio for the main worship center, for the benefit of worship participants.
FRONT OF HOUSE LIGHTING TECHNICIAN
- Responsible for execution of lighting cues – in the room and on the platform.
FRONT OF HOUSE MEDIA TECHNICIAN
- Operates ProPresenter to display media (lyrics, scripture, video) on the worship center video wall.
BACKSTAGE DIRECTOR
- Oversees a volunteer team that is responsible for helping worship leaders with various tasks (timing, entrances, the movement of props, screens, lights, etc.).
- Works closely with the Producer.
BACKSTAGE CREW MEMBER
- Helps worship leaders with the movement of props, screens, lights, etc. under the direction of the Backstage Director.)
LIVESTREAM AUDIO TECHNICIAN
- Mixes audio for the benefit of remote viewers.
LIVESTREAM CAMERA OPERATOR
- Composes camera shots. Responsible for camera focus and exposure.
LIVESTREAM GREETER
- Facilitates a welcoming environment on Facebook and the website livestream. Monitors the stream for any spam or inappropriate comments.

GPSTUDENTS
Our desire is for young people to have a chance to know Jesus and grow in their faith. We hope that students hear and learn the truth of the gospel, build relationships with friends and adult leaders, and experience Jesus in new and exciting ways.
GPSTUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
SMALLGROUP LEADER+*
- Leads discussion of High School or Middle School small groups, utilizing questions provided by the teacher for the evening.
- Meets before youth group for “team meeting” and prayer.
- Builds relationships with teens, for the sake of discipleship.
- Serves as “crowd control” and oversight during GP Student gatherings and events.
- Maintains an environment for learning and safety.
WORSHIP LEADER+*
- Serves as a musician or vocalist, to lead teens in worship during GP Students events. May require outside rehearsal and practice time.
TECH OPERATOR+
- Serves through displaying media for worship and teaching during GP Students gatherings.
SNACKS+
- Comes early to GP Student weekly meetings to prepare pizza and set up shop. Keeps inventory of snacks and drinks to ensure they are restocked each week.
SUNDAY SCHOOL LEADER+*
- Connect with teens, lead a Bible lesson and discussion. The goal is to disciple teens in the context of truth and relationships.

HOSPITALITY
When people visit the GracePoint campus, we want them to feel welcome and to sense the presence of Jesus! You can be part of helping others know the welcoming love of Jesus! HOSPITALITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
COFFEE
- Helps with preparation and stocking of coffee and snack supplies for the morning. Stationed at the coffee counter to help those who may need it.
GREETER
- Positioned near the entrances to welcome those who enter on Sunday mornings. Available to answer questions, direct people to the areas they need, etc.
USHER
- Welcomes those coming into the worship center, provides a morning bulletin and helps with seating as needed.
- Communion Sundays: serves communion to the church family by receiving the plates and passing them to those in attendance. Collects the cups afterward.
- Communion Sundays: Position themselves at the doors at the end of worship gatherings to collect the benevolence offering.
SAFETY TEAM+
- Interior: Walks the building on Sunday mornings, welcoming people, observing, keeping an eye out for potential risks or trouble spots.
- Exterior: Walks the outside of the building on Sunday mornings, ensuring those coming in are safe during inclement weather, and keeping an eye out for suspicious or strange activity on or around the campus.
NEW HERE DESK
- Welcome newcomers and help get them connected at GracePoint.
- Provide information about various ministries and opportunities.

GPADULTS
Adult Ministries are aimed at introducing mean and women of all ages to Jesus, then helping them learn how to live a life that demonstrates His power and grace to others. GPADULTS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
CONNECT GROUP LEADER*
- Prepares for weekly or bi-weekly Connect Group meetings, leads the study, facilitates discussion and care for participants.
- Required attendance at periodic leader training events, hosted by the Pastor of Adult Ministries.
CONNECT GROUP HOSTS
- Helps the leader with arrangement of home meeting locations, organization of refreshments, communication with group members, organization of childcare arrangements in some cases, and facilitates cleanup after group.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY COMMITTEE*
- Part of a collaborative team who organize events for the women of GracePoint. These may include outreach, holiday, social, or Christian growth events.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY TABLE LEADER*
- Prepares in advance to facilitate discussion of the content viewed or heard during large group Bible study sessions.
- Works to establish community and connection through relationships.
PRAYER TEAM MEMBER
- Serves under the direction of the Deacon team, participating in various prayer projects, initiatives, etc.
- May help organize or create prayer events, recruit others to prayer, or do some instructional teaching about prayer (depending on gifting and interest).
CARE TEAM MEMBER*
- Serves under the direction of the Deacon team, participating in various care projects and meeting individual needs. Many times, these are homebound members of GracePoint or the Elderly.

LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
ELDER**
- Open to biblically qualified men (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9) who have been a member at GracePoint for at least one year. Requires a heart to provide oversight and shepherding of the GracePoint family on a personal and spiritual level. We are looking for men with shepherd’s hearts, not business savvy.
- Meet monthly and as needed periodically.
- Engages in accountable relationships with other Elders and Pastors.
- Participates in decision making at various levels.
DEACON OR DEACONESS**
- Open to biblically qualified men or women (1 Timothy 3:8-13) who have been a member at GracePoint for at least one year.
- These are need-oriented positions that may last for years, or may be short-lived due to changing circumstances. Deacons and Deaconesses organize teams to meet needs.

FACILITIES
Our campus is a gift from God which we desire to maintain and keep clean, for His glory and the good of His people. Anything from office organization to building maintenance is possible for volunteers to help with.
GP FACILITIES VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
FRONT OFFICE GREETER / RECEPTIONIST
- By being the “first touch” visitors to our campus have during the week, you create a warm and welcoming environment that expresses the heart of Jesus.
- Basic office tasks, including copying, data entry, filing, research, administrative.
CUSTODIAL & FACILITY
- Helps our office staff and Director of Facililites organize and arrange the facility for use.
- Some volunteers may be asked to help our paid staff with general cleaning and upkeep of the campus.
MAINTENANCE
- Helps maintain equipment, fix things that break, and work on new building or expansion projects.
CONSTRUCTION
- Serve in repair, building, or planning of various projects related to expansion or improvement of our campus.

LOCAL OUTREACH
The GracePoint family works in partnership with a handful of local organizations that care for those in our community who are in desperate need of the love and care of Jesus. This includes food distribution, prison ministry, and more. We also plan perodic events that provide educational and skills-based help to our neighbors. LOCAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
CANONBALL+
- Ministry to those living at the Standing Rock Reservation in Canonball. Various outreach events and drives are conducted throughout the year, including monthly travel to Canonball to help with worship gatherings.
DREAM CENTER
- A Bismarck non-profit dedicated to transform lives and transform our community through outreach to help those in need.
PRISON FELLOWSHIP+
- Prison Fellowship serves inmates in our local prisons and their families.

GLOBAL OUTREACH
Through our affiliattion with the Evangelical Free Church’s “Reach Global” arm, we support many foreign missionaries and organizations who are faithfully sharing the gospel and planting churches with people around the world. GLOBAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
MISSIONS TEAM MEMBER
- Serve as a liason with our international missionaries, support them in prayer, advise the Elders and Pastoral staff on missionary needs and support levels. Potentially visit missionaries in the field to minister to their needs.
HONDURAS SHORT TERM MISSION TRIP
- A team from GP travels to Honduras bi-annually to build a house for a family in need and connect with the local church in Honduras.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
- GracePoint works with Samaritan’s Purse to collect and deliver packed Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for children around the world. The GP campus is a drop-off site, which means we receive boxes from other local and regional groups and load them onto trucks for delivery. We also pack hundreds of boxes each year as the GP family.
WHITE CROSS
- Once a month gathering to support missionaries in Kinshasa, The Democratic-Republic of the Congo. This team sews kimonos and blankets for the babies who are born in the hospital where the missionaries work.
