Connect Groups

Connect Groups are one of the main ways we provide for adults to get into a context of relational discipleship. We are able to “teach and admonish one another” as the scriptures instruct, when we join together for study, prayer, and support.

Most groups meet for three 8-10 week sessions from mid-September through early May, taking a break during the summer months.

Women's Groups

GracePoint Women is a community of women of all ages, stages, and places in our walk with Jesus where you can come as you are and find gospel-centered friendships. Through Bible studies, events and more we want all women at GracePoint to be connected. We can’t wait to meet you and encourage you in the season God has you in!

Tuesday Mornings

9:00 AM- Weekly

Tuesday Morning Bible Study will be studying “Forever for Our Good” by Katie McCoy. In this 8-session Bible study for women, author and theologian Katie J. McCoy walks through the book of Deuteronomy, an invitation to abundant life found through faith-filled devotion to the Lord alone. This group meets in the GP gym. Cost for the book is $20, Childcare is available.

Tuesday Evenings

6:30 PM- Weekly

Tuesday Evening Bible Study meets in the GP gym. They are studying “Experiencing God in Everyday Life”. This study will help you experience God on the mountaintops and every day between. Cost for the book is $20, Childcare is available.

Hope for Moms

Monday 7:00 PM- Biweekly

Hope for Moms is led by Mindi Green. They go through Biblical teaching for Christian wives and mothers. They meet at church and childcare is available.

Empty Nests~ Full Hearts

Friday TBD

Led by Mindi Green and Raylene Alexander. This group is for moms who are empty nesters of any age. 

“Although our children are gone from our home, our hearts are still full of love and concern for them. We need the support, encouragement, and understanding from other moms. We need to encourage one another in the Lord because He has great love for us and exciting new plans for us to accomplish. We would love for you to be a part of this new and exciting group!” -Mindi

Men's Groups

GracePoint Men welcomes all men to come and be challenged to grow deeper in their faith with God, grow as leaders, and be a force for positive change in the home, workplace, and neighborhood. Through connecting, serving and studying together, our goal is to help you align how you live with the calling and purpose you have in Christ.

6:30 AM- Weekly

Monday Morning Bible Study is led by Wayne Markegaard and Larry Kamrath. They are studying the book of John. They meet in the GP lobby. 

Tuesday Evenings

6:30 PM- Weekly

Tuesday Evening Bible Study will be studying Paul’s letters. It is led by Brett Luker and they meet in 301/302.

Thursday Mornings

6:30 AM- Weekly

Thursday Morning Bible Study is led by Greg Lang. Topic TBD. They meet in 301/302.

Led by Vince Iglehart. The topic of this group is TBD. They meet in 3o2.

Sunday 10:45 AM- Weekly

The 10:45 am group is led by Tom Wangler and Doug Schelhaas. They will be studying the General Epistles. They meet in 302.

The Middle

Sunday 9:00 AM- Weekly

This group is led by Ryan and Tori Renner. Thee questions will be sermon based. They meet in 301.

Mandonians

Thursday 7:00 PM- Biweekly

Led by Chuck Curtiss. Every first and third Thursday of the month.

Friday 5:00 PM- BiWeekly

Led by Taran and Corbyn Robberstad. Every other week. 

North Bismarck

Sunday 5:30 PM- Biweekly

North Bismarck

Led by Jodie Engstrom. This group is currently full.

South Bismarck

Thursday 6:30 PM- Weekly

Led by Carey and Mindi Green.

This “hybrid” group will be modeling what a healthy Connect Group looks like for group members who are considering leading a Connect Group themselves in the future. At the same time the group will be open to those who are not interested in leadership in the future.

Central Bismarck

Monday 6:00 PM- Biweekly

Led by Jay and Kate Simenson. This group is currently full.

Marrieds Class

Wednesday 6:30 PM- Weekly

This group is made up of married couples in their 20’s–40’s and is focused on Christian-based studies centered on marriage and relationships. 

Beyond class, they also plan events to help couples connect and build friendships. The women may get together for dinner or coffee, while the men might watch a game or head to a golf simulator together. 

Central Bismarck

Thursday 6:30 PM- Biweekly

Led by Russ and Deb Gysberg at their house. This group uses sermon based questions.

50 East

Thursday 5:30 PM- Monthly

50 East is for those who are 50 years old and above. They meet once a month on Thursdays and start with a dinner together at 5:30 pm. They will be going through a study on Right Now Media. They meet in the GP Lobby. 

Young Professionals-Singles

Monday 7:00 PM- Biweekly

This group is made up of young professionals in their late 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s. It is led by Karn Lamon at her house. 

Young Adults

Thursdays 6:30 PM- Weekly

The Young Adults group is for those ages Ages 18-25. Lead by Brett Luker

Prayer Group

Sunday 6:00 PM- Weekly

A time centered around prayer. This group is led by Libby and Travis Kidder at their house. 

Prayer Group

Tuesday 11:30 AM- Weekly

Prayer Group gets together to pray over GracePoint and the needs of our church and church family. They meet in the GP Lobby.

Congolese Church

Sunday 3:00 PM

A service is held on Sundays from 3-5 PM in Kinyarwanda and some Swahili. All are welcome! 

Caring for Congo

Thursday 9 AM Monthly

Caring for Congo meets once a month to make cards and kimonos to send to Africa as well as supporting a widow to learn a trade.
