Psalm 145: 1-3

I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless you
and praise your name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
    and his greatness is unsearchable.

Psalm 145 is David’s last psalm in the book of Psalms, and it is a psalm of praise.  If we look at the life of David, we know that His life was filled with pain and mistakes, as well as blessings.  But the thing that made David a man after Gods own heart is what we see at the beginning of Psalm 145; he praises the lord every day.

No matter the circumstances in your life, there is nothing that can happen that will even make God not praiseworthy.  Imagine if we blessed the Lord every day of our lives.  Nothing and no one would be able to remove the joy we would have!  God is great!  Greatly, He deserves to be praised!

Are you living with this same kind of joy in your life?  Today, praise the Lord.  In the good, praise the Lord.  In the bad, praise the Lord.  We serve a great and mighty God.  Praise Him!
