Psalm 63:1 

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh faints for You, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. 

Is there anything in your soul that resonates with David’s words? Do you truly (really) hunger and thirst for the living God? 

I truly hope so. 

I can remember one of the first times the heart behind Psalm 63:1 grabbed my attention. I remember it so well because recognizing how much David wanted his soul’s hunger to be satisfied with God made me realize how little my soul did. And I instinctively knew it wasn’t right. 

As we being our “Seek First Project” I encourage you to join us for worship this morning (9/13/2026). We will open to this passage and allow David to serve as our “Personal Spiritual Trainer.” His example is going to show us both the WHY and the HOW of seeking after God. 

We are also going to walk step by step through every resource the church staff has provided to help you press into this Seek First season. We’ve been praying for weeks already, asking God to get all of us ready for what He wants to reveal to us during this season. 

Are you ready? Do you want to hunger and thirst for God like David did? Come join us as we seek God first together…
